The people who use reggae music to spread a positive message have to do it independently and as part of an underground scene. Culture Reggae is here to help them tell their story. Big business doesn't like anything that undermines or criticises it, so the media and the music industry fight against conscious reggae.This means that the positive sounds exist in a world without advertising campaigns, media exposure and hype. It can all seem mysterious to audiences raised on the business practices of pop and rock. Our mission is to help remove some of the misconceptions that surround the music and to join with the other voices, already out there, bravely trying to chant down babylon.
